It began way back when as a community that I have found most use of after being woefully unable to fit right in with the other larger MOTHER communities I was once part of before I left them all. Its first iteration in 2021 was MOTHER: Reach, named simply after Halo Reach that had a sizable amount of users at launch (mostly my friends that I have sourced from various places). One year later (2022), it's been shifted over to MOTHER Northstar, named after the mononymously known Titan class from Titanfall 2, and by extension, Titanfall 2's Northstar Client. This 2nd iteration has served us well for the good part of three years up until 2025 where one last decision was made to turn its name into the new one you know as today.

This autonomous community that everyone is still a part of has been brought as a true upbringing in light of making a personally correct call that resulted in an honest statement regarding the MOTHER: CogDis Discord and how it has gone down the drain in terms of the current owner who has engaged in their hostile takeover back in 2022, as well as now rendering their entire staff and themselves to keep a ghostly distance and not operate transparently as I would've believed. That, and continuing to allow two distinct troublemakers to continue being a part of the server. I used to be the owner before my leave back in 2019, but now, with what I have leveraged, and with a heightened sense of maturity, I have finally grown to realize that the CogDiscord was no longer meant to be with the path that it's going down towards, and that people needed something that is the polar opposite of the corrupt husk that I personally consider to be the rotten prototype. That polar opposite is where HORIZON-CD comes in.

To make things clear, it's fully open-for-all. It's not just for my friends and those who were willing to join, it's also for people within the MOTHER community in general (including the CogDis community), especially those who genuinely value moral integrity and uplifting one another, always willing to stand against the lingering corruption that does not deserve any platform in HORIZON-CD. The time for a better and more welcoming community is now.
